My great-great-great grandmother was named Elizabeth J. Mikels or Michaels. I'm not sure. I think she was born about 1826-1830. Her death certificate says she was born in Knoxville, TN. My Great-Aunt says she was born in Holland. She married Joseph Rhodes (born about 1832?) and Elizabeth died in Wayne county, Missouri. Her death certificate

She and Joseph had 6 children:
Louisa
Rebecca
Samuel
Joseph
Mary
Charlotte
I have done some census research, and there were a few Elizabeth Mikels/Michaels/Michels born in Holland about that time. I have difficulty figuring out which of them is my ancestor.
If anyone knows anything about the Mikels/Michaels/Michels family that came from Holland, to Tennessee, and to Missouri in the 1800's, I would really appreciate it. Thanks.
