Hello....I'm not sure about ur grandmother. But I know that the family Michel is in Jalisco. There are little towns that are prediminately occupied by Michel's. If you do ever decide to travel to Jalisco, there is a middle sized town called El Grullo, Jalisco; you might be able to find info there. My father's family lives in a small town called La Labor, Jalico.
