Hi All, Back some time ago message #346 Bob Lindsay replied to a message regarding this family.I would really like to make contact with members of this family as Im trying to complete a family history book for our children of the future so they will know where these Michel families come from.
To complete this section of the family I'm short of real imformation as to what happened after they left India.
Alan Michel compiled a book of dear brother letters between himself and his youngest brother in Australia during the 1840 and again in the 1870 and I have been able to gleen info from these letters and it makes wonderful reading of those times as Major Henry developed his family in india and some of what his children have done as well .If any one can assist or give me some direction regarding this I would be most greatful and believe that the family story will live on
