I am searching for information on Josef Michl born in 1788 who lived in Pisek, Bohemia in the early 1800s. His wife was Maria Molendova born in 1790 in Pisek. He had a daughter named Maria Michl born in 1814. His other children were Franz b 1810, Anna b 1818, Jakub b 1821, Josef b 1824 and Tomas b 1829. All children born in Pisek. I am also searching for information about Maria Michl and who she married. I believe she is my gr gr grandmother but cannot prove it. My gr gr grandmother, Maria Michel/Michl born in 1814 in Bohemia, immigrated to Minnesota in 1854 with her husband John born in 1812 in Bohemia and two children, Kaspar born in 1840 in Bohemia and Antone born in 1851 in Bohemia. My gr gr grandfather's name in Minnesota became Penhiter/Penheiter but this was not the original name. The original name was spelled something like Penheiter, Bernreiter, Barenreuter or something like those spellings. Since I have been unable to track my Penhiter side I am trying to track the ancestry of Maria Michel/Michl to try to find the correct spelling of her husband's name and both of their ancestry. Any information is appreciated.
