Michell Family Genealogy Forum

I have two Michell women that I am trying to find the parents for and see if they are related. The first is Ann Michell who was born 1819 and was of Tremenheere, Cornwall and was married to John Bolitho 17 Jun 1845 in Wesleyan Church, Helston, Cornwall. John and his wife Ann Michell Bolitho migrated to America about 1848. In 1850 they are living in Galena, Jo Daviess County IL. Also in Galena is John Bolitho's father Henry Bolitho and Elizabeth Moyses. In the household for John Bolitho and Anna Michell Bolitho are two children John H. 7 and Albert 8/12. In the 1880 census John H. Bolitho is living in Boone County Iowa. He is listed as John H Bolitho age 28 bn IL a daughter Elizabeth A age 3
Elizabeth MICHELL age 54 born England and listed as mother in law. Also in the household is Nora Parker 17 servant,
Albert Bolitho age 21 brother and Henry A. Bolitho 4/12. There is no wife lised??? wonder if she died in child birth when Henry A. was born.
Anna Michell who married John Bolitho the father of John H. Bolitho who had Elizabeth Michell mother-in-law born England age 54 living with him seems to say the Bolitho and Michell family married at least two generations. Anna was born in 1819 and Elizabeth that appears in John H Bolitho's household in 1880 is 54 birth 1826 +- a year. SO is Anna Michell the sister to Elizabeth Michell? Did one of Elizabeth's daughter marry John H Bolitho? in the 1900 census John H Bolitho is with a wife Agnes who is 39 born in WI. The oldest child is Elwin age 16. It states that Agnes and John H Bolitho were married for 18 years which says they got married in 1882. This is a couple of years after his first wife had died. Anna Michell must have died after the birth of Henry A. Bolitho who is not listed in the 1900 census, which says probably the child died, however in the 1900 census the son would have been 19 or 20 so may just have left home. There is a John Henry in the 1900 census son age 6. Can anyone give me information on ANN MICHELL who married in Helston ( probably where her family was living) and ELIZABETH MICHELL the mother-in law who is in the 1880 census? Thanks
