Matilda and Columbus moved to Grimes Co., Texas 1885 and on to Bell Co., in 1837, Bought a farm north of Temple, TX in the community known as Sante Fe. They remained there until they died, Columbus and Sarah Sinclair moved from Attala County, Mississippi to Nimer Co., Texas in 1885 and moved to Bell County, Texas in 1887. They lived on a farm five miles north of Temple, Texas and four miles south of Pendleton on Brewster Road, Rt. 1, in the Santa Fe community until their death. The Sinclair farm adjoined the Brewster farm. Martha Ella Wasson (the mother of the author of this paragraph) Brewster called Mrs. Sinclair "Cousin Tillie". Mrs. Sinclair called her "Cousin Ella".
