Michell/Mitchells from St.Agnes and Redruth Cornwall

My grt gran was Bridget Mitchell born 1864 Redruth, her parents were John Michell b:1821 and Frances Floyd b:1828
John and Frances lived in the Redruth area of Cornwall for most of their lives, in the 1871 census they were living in Radcliffe, Lancashire.Most of the family moved here.
The story off my nan goes that when the mines started to dry up, the family walked up from Cornwall, working on the way to feed them all.
John's parents were Thomas Michell and Constance
More info on any of John siblings would be good, can anyone help.
Johns siblings were Jennifer 1808, Constance 1810, Martha 1813, Thomas 1818, Arthur 1821,Elizabeth 1825 and Samuel 1827, all born as far as I know Gwinear, Cornwall
