Hi Donna! I am of the Mickel family from Hancock County in KY. My gfather was Orville Mickel, who married Goldie Spencer. His father was known as Frank. Franks' father was Henry Mickel, who was your ggfathers' brother. Henry and Conrad came to KY in their late teens/early 20's. If you have any info, I would appreciate it. I have been searching, planning on a trip home to KY to go to the courthouse in Hancock County. What ever info we can share - - I know my family would dearly love. Hope to hear from you soon. Thanks!!!
