I have traced my family line back to the mid 1700's somewhere around the Glasgow, Scotland area. 3 brothers George, William & James all born in the Glasgow area between 1760 & 1780. I was told that their father's name was William Mickle/Meikle. I was also told that his father was Hugh Meikle/Muckle, but after doing a lot of research I still cannot make the connections. Any information would be of great help. Thanks in advance for your time.
