Helen MICKLE/MEIKLE marr. James RAE, Scotland 1840's

Hi,
James RAE is one of my ancestors and married a Helen about 1848. I believe it was Helen MICKLE/MEICKLE but have been unable to confirm that the James RAE she married is my ancestor.

My James was born 26 Feb 1828 in Dalserf Lanark Scotland to parents, Robert RAE and Janet DAVIDSON. James and Helen appear in the Scottish Census up to 1891 living in Lanark.

Any help in confirming that James is my relation would be greatly appreciated.
