Hello--I hope someone can help. I am looking for the wife of Moses S. Lufkin,who was divorced from him May 15,1863, after a marriage of only 3 years (m. June 19, 1860). He claimed she deserted him. Mary Susan Mitchell was probably born in Phillips,Maine as they were married there. I need her parents' names, her birth date, as well as what happened to her after the divorce. As later events proved that Moses wasn't a good person (he was from all accounts run out of town), she probably did run from him but to where?
