Looking for information about John Mitchell, born Knox Co TN c 1842. Marriage bond and license states that he married Isabell Burns in Warren Co KY Jan 1865 (bond was dated Jan 1864) A son, William Washington Mitchell was born in Bowling Green KY Dec. 20, 1865. Family lore says he sent Isabell and son back to GA before 1870. He was never heard from again. Any information greatly appreciated.
