Does anyone have information on this Benjamin Mitchell? He married Casey Stephens of SC. She is found on the 1850 census of Stewart County with their two daughters. Benjamin had died before then, and his estate was probated by his brother John. In 1840, we find John and Benjamin living next door to Mary Mitchell and Mrs. Parker and her children. I believe that she is the widow of James Parker as Benjamin bought his property. Ebeneezer A. Mitchell is either a brother, or father?
