I'm looking for parents of Wiley Blunt Mitchell born about 1838 in or around McMinn, TN. His given name could have been William or Wiley Blount Mitchell. His wife was Mary Ann Dixon. He and Mary Ann were married about 1847 in TN. He died and is buried in Coy, MO. Our family trail dead ends here. I have seen a few people try to continue with this particular family line online with some incorrect information so this search has been frustrating. ANY info regarding parents of Wiley Blunt Mitchell would be helpful. We think his people may have come from North Carolina or north through Appalachia...eventually from Scotland. Help.
