Looking for parents of Calvin Mitchell, born 23 Sept 1852 in either Alabama or Georgia. His marriage is listed as Calvin Meacham to Mary E. Wortham on 14 Dec. 1876 in Christian Co., KY. He died on 8 July 1933 in Paducah, KY in the Illinois Central Railroad Hospital. I am his great grandaughter and have information about the family since Calvin. Family rumor says his mother or grandmother may have been Indian and that there may have been a brother who went to either Texas or Louisiana. Any information would be great.
