I am looking for a Ship's Master named Captain William Mitchell. Capt. Mitchell is possibly from Hull, in Yorkshire. He married the widow McFarland in 1839 in St. John, New Brunswick, Canada. It would appear he sailed between New Brunswick and Londonderry. After they got married the Mitchells lived on Rossville Street, Londonderry, Ireland. They had at least two children, William (a ship owner. He married Mary McVickers, the daughter of Sir Robert McVickers, Lord Mayor of Londoderry) and Daniel Irvine Mitchell.
