Hi Al, I'm interested in learning more about the early settlers of Jefferson County as well! A member of my family had been doing some research regarding the Hildebrand/Hill side and has since passed away. I have learned quite a bit from the information he left behind - but, I am new to genealogy and still trying to piece things together. I was wondering if you knew whether or not I have the Hildebrand names listed correctly or if there is anything you could share??

Debra Hill (me), daughter of Michael James Hill
Michael Hill(my dad), son of Julius James Hill
Julius J. Hill(my grandpa), son of John Franklin Hill
John Franklin Hill(my G-grandpa), son of James Franklin Hill
James Franklin Hill(my 2G-grandpa), son of David Riley Hill
David Riley Hill(my 3G-grandpa), son of Mary Hildebrand
Mary Hildebrand(my 4G-grandma), daughter of David Hildebrand
David Hildebrand(my 5G-grandpa), son of Peter Hildebrand
Peter Hildebrand(my 6G-grandpa), son of John Hildebrand
John Hildebrand(my 7G-grandpa), son of Jacob Hildebrand
