I recently found out the a gg-uncle lived in St. James sometime during the 1920's after coming from Illinois and before going to California.
Gus and Dott Trapp had 3 children born in Missouri, Robert Joe b.1923, Clyde Edward b. 1926 and James Leo b. 1927. They also lived in Freeburg during this time frame.
Any information or help is appreciated as I would like to locate the birth towns of the above sons and also pass this information on to my grandmother (96). This would have been her uncle and she remembers coming to Missouri from Illinois to visit and swimming in both the little and big Piney rivers.
