I am researching the Rogers family in Pike County, Missouri - specifically Timothy P. Rogers, minister at Old Siloam Church (Baptist) and his descendants. According to the information I have, T.P. Rogers (sometimes spelled Rodgers) was born in Madison County, Kentucky in 1804 to Harris Rogers/Rodgers and Margaret "Peggy" Park(s). He married Elizabeth Inlow on September 10, 1829 in Madison County, Kentucky. Sometime around 1830, they moved to Pike County, Missouri. They had 5 children: Martha Ann, Henry Harris, Silas Monroe Noel, Margaret Elizabeth and Salome Postin. According to Timothy P. Rogers' family Bible (in the possession of Joann Lucas Conrad), Elizabeth Inlow Rogers died on August 19, 1850. Timothy P. married Sarah "Sallie" McLoed on December 23, 1852 (according to T.P.'s family Bible), and they had 2 children: George William and Maryem. Two different family Bibles state that Timothy died on June 10, 1874, and one states that Sallie died on November 19, 1855. I believe Sallie died in Pike County, but I am not sure out T.P. Some of T.P.'s children stayed in MO, and a few moved to Texas. Most of my information is from the files of Joann Lucas Conrad, who has posts on numerous genealogy forums. I have been unable to contact her, and I have no other contacts related to this family. My husband is a descendant of Timothy's son Silas Monroe. Silas was a junior, but at present I have no idea who the senior was. My email has been the same for over 8 years, and I do not plan to change it so please contact me if you have any information about the Rogers, the Inlows, or the McLoeds and their descendants. Thanks. Notify Administrator about this message?
