Kim I am delighted to hear from you. Thats interesting,
you being from the George Lester line who was a brother of
Aaron Lee Niffen. I have a picture of Aaron. My mother
always carried it. Are you from Louisiana? Do you know of
any family bibles or history books that anyone from the
area may have. Hopefully I can get down there in the
spring and go thru the libraries. Some of them have old
newspapers on microfilm. I live in Michigan so it kind of
hard right now. My grand mother Opal Ladina (Darnell)Clemons is listed in the Illinois death index as having
died 9 April 1921 in Pike County,Ill. But all her family
ties were to Louisiana. If you could help or know anyone
from Aarons family line that could help, it would be
greatly apreciated. Thanks Opal
