I am so glad you hit the brick wall. Obituaries is a great thing to look up. You be surprised what you find.
Have another missing Darnell link. Aaron Lee Niffen brother Albert Henry Niffen married to his second wife Margaret Sue White. She was the daughter of Ruben R White & Mary A. Burrough.
Margaret got married to a Darnell before she got married to Albert. She & this Darnell guy had a son name Raymond Leroy Darnell. Raymond was born 1 Jun 1945 & died 10 Mar 2003. I did found Raymond's grave but now I cant find it.
Most of the Niffen's are buried at Riverview Cemetery, Louisiana, Pike, Missouri. Ive been grave hunting for my family & others by marriage. Sometimes I take info from other grave's & take info from Death Certificate.
