April 22, 1924 - Nov. 23, 2000 HANNIBAL - Jeanette F. Lehenbauer, 76, of Hannibal, died at 5:35 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 23, 2000, at Willow Care Center in Hannibal. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 28, at the St. John Lutheran Church in Hannibal. Pastor Richard Ingmire will officiate. Burial will be at Mount Olivet Cemetery in Hannibal. The James O'Donnell Funeral Home in Hannibal is in charge of arrangements. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until time of services Tuesday at the church. Mrs. Lehenbauer was born April 22, 1924, in Hannibal to Michael James and Alta Mae Brooks Sughru. She was married to Theodore A. Lehenbauer on April 3, 1943. He survives. Other survivors include one daughter, Barbara Fibelkorn of Claremont, Calif.; two sisters, Shirley Bridges of Hannibal and Jo Anne McGill of Marceline; five grandchildren, Philip Fibelkorn, Stephen Fibelkorn, Paul Fibelkorn, Jennifer McEwen and Christine Tucker; and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one son, David Theodore Lehenbauer. Mrs. Lehenbauer was a homemaker and a member of St. John Lutheran Church of Hannibal. She was a member of the Lutheran Women's Missionary League and served as vice president of the Inspiration Kansas District. She enjoyed storytelling and started preschools in Valley Park, Hugoton, Kan., and Dighton, Kan. The family wishes to include as survivors: one son-in-law, the Rev. John Fibelkorn of Claremont, Calif.; one brother-in-law, Al Lehenbauer of Hannibal; one sister-in-law, Wanda Lehenbauer of Hannibal; nieces; and nephews. Memorials may be made to the Lutheran Women's Missionary League. Pallbearers will be Philip Fibelkorn, Stephen Fibelkorn, Paul Fibelkorn, Dana Ruhl, Todd Bridgeman and Walter Hunt.
