Brashears, possible father-in-law of Thompson Clayton who was married to Patience Malinda Brashears. The Brashears moved to Missouri from Spartanburg County, SC in early 1800s. There was a Thompson Clayton in Ralls County who was born in 1812 in Virginia, but my Thompson Clayton was born in South Carolina about 1820-1825. Who is the Thompson Clayton who was living in Ralls County? My Thompson died after 1880 in probably Itawamba County, MS. His first-born son was Nathaniel Meredith/Merida Clayton. Need help sorting through all of these Claytons and Brashears! Notify Administrator about this message?
