Thank you for your responce to my query. A couple years ago I got some research that included research on my ancestor George Lackey. It refered to a daughter of George Lackey as Anapler Lackey and she married a Copeland. This research also refered to Elizabeth w/o George Lackey as Elizabeth Modglin.
Facts that I have proven: George and Elizabeth Lackey lived in Pope County, Illinois in 1820. They moved to Washington now Benton Co., Ark. by 1838 and to Fannin Co., Texas by 1843. They had a daughter named Mary Ann (Polly) Lackey. She married William C. Coplin/Copeland prior to moving to Texas.
My only lead to think that Elizabeth Lackey was a Modglen was the research sent to me a couple years ago and I do not remember who sent it to me. I have proven out all of this research except the Modglen connection. Elizabeth Lackey was born abt 1782 in North Carolina.
