I posted message 59 and have really gotten no where until a possible lead tonight. I spoke with a daughter of Mitchel who now lives in CA she states that her Grandfather was George Washinton Modglin. I have went to the LDS site although it is good for research there seems to be a not of negatives - anyway using it this is what I see:
MITCHEL b. Poloski Co IL
GEORGE WASHINGTON b. ca 1856 Johnson IL (Can't find this town) (possibly married to Mary E Henson 9 Sep 1878 Cape Geredeau MO)
JOSEPH E b 1831 Johnson IL
BENTON b. ca 1807 TN (appears to be Wilson Co TN) married Patsey or Martha Haley or Haerly - Possibley another Benton or some confusion shows b 1790 Chatham Co NC with parents of Truman and Mary Ann
Does anyone have any info for me on these people
