Strangeman Modglin/Anapler Burns

Looking for more information about the connection between Anapler Burns and the Modglin family of Chatham County, N.C. The will of John Burns Sr. written in 1811 clearly indicates that his daughter was married to a Modglin (this will is posted on the Chatham County NC genweb site). The Burns family has always believed that Strangeman initially married Anapler and later married Chloe Patterson. Does anyone have documentation concerning these marriages?
