1820 census, Pope Co., Illinois, Monroe Twp, Pg. 74, Line 32 list Straingman Modglen with
1 male age 0-10; 1 male age 45 plus; 3 females age 10-16; 2 females age 16-26; 1 female age 45 plus

1820 census, Pope Co., Illinois, Monroe Twp, Pg. 75, Line 2 list George Lacky
1 male age 0-10; 1 male age 10-16; 1 male age 16-26; 2 females age 0-10; 1 female age 16-26; 1 female age 45 plus

George W. Lackey's wife was Elizabeth b. abt. 1782, NC, d. 1852, Fannin Co., TX. George & Elizabeth Lackey lived in the same area as Strangeman Modglin. I found some older Lackey research that list's Strangeman Modglin as Elizabeth's father. I am trying to find anything that will prove this or prove it wrong. I do know that all known children of George W. Lackey list their birthplace as Pope Co., Illinois.
George W. & Elizabeth Lackey appear in Benton Co., Ark. by Feb. 1837.
