I am looking for a Joseph Morin which would have been born in 1810 possibly in Champlain, Quebec. He married Mary ?, born about 1805 also in Quebec. They had at least one daughter Cecelia (Celia) b. 18 oct 1830. However it is believed that Celia was born in the states.
Cecelia (Celia) married Louis Yell(e)abt 1849. They had several children born in the states, then it appears that they moved to Canada and had at least 2 children while there.
Andre, b. 11 Jan 1863 St Chrysostome, Chateauguay,and died
13 Jun 1864 in the same.
Mary Ellen b. 17 Mar 1865 born in Canada.
The next child, Harriet "Hattie" Yell is not confirmed to have been born in Canada, but the birthdate is May 1867, therefore it is unsure if the Yell(e)'s stayed in canada for 2/4 years as Cecelia Morin/Yell(e) was born in the states.
Mary Ellen would be my g-grandmother, her sister, Celia, married Jean Baptiste Brousseau.
