Phyllis Johnson: In searching my Davis line I bumped into Robert Davis who m. Sarah Dyer Hawes in 1764. He d. 1818--Ref: A Hisroty of Pendelton Co. WV. The brief indicates they had 4 children: John,[1766-1851] m. Mary A Morral; Sarah Davis, m. John Moral; Elizabeth Davis, m. Samuel Moral and Samuel Davis, d. young. I am looking for Abel Davis [1765-1850] who lived in Hardy Co., WV when his son John was b. in 1800. Any parallel?
