Brenda, I am connected to the Muir family by a great grand father by the name of George McClure Muir whose parents are James Muir and Margaret McClure McKenzie. I don't know if we are related but George was born in Ayr, Scotland in 1836 and was married and then widowed and then migrated to Australia where he met and married my great grand mother Jeanette Harriette Crocker. He died in Brisbane in 1907.
I am from Brisbane but now live in the USA.
