Benny,
The Mary A. that Abraham Nabors married was Mary Ann Woodruff Mardis. She was born 14 Jan 1818 in Monticello, Jasper County GA, the daughter of Agatha Medlock and James Woodruff. MAry Ann had married Dr. John Wright Mardis on 8 Jun 1837 in Shelby County AL. They had one daughter, Sarah Ann Susan Mardis (born ca. 1844). Dr. Mardis died in 1855, and Mary Ann married Abraham Nabors 3 Jul 1856 in Shelby County AL.

By the way, the March 2003 Shelby County Historical Society Quarterly has an article on the Nabors Family of Shelby County, written by John Robert Walker.

In doing some research recently, I came across the following information:
Marriage Records of Tuscaloosa County AL 1821-1860, copyright 1994, Automated Archives, Inc., CD3, 1st Edition:
Nabors, Allen F.       Blalock, Peggy              Aug 7, 1827
Nabors, John B.              Dyer, Perlina A.       Apr 21, 1860
Nabors, Jolly              Jennings, Mary              Dec 19, 1829
Nabors, Milly              McElroy, John              Aug 3, 1830
Neighbors, Matilda       Isom, Abraham              Feb 10, 1827
Neighbors, Pryor       Mitchell, Rebecca       Jul 8, 1824
Neighbors, Benjamin       Lunsford, Margaret       Dec 22, 1826
Neighbors, Milly       Moses, Milton              Dec 2, 1851

The dates differ slightly from yours, but my assumption would be that the one presented in the above index are the dates the marriage license was issued vs. the day the marriage took place. It did live me with two questions:
1) Do you think John B. Nabors who married in 1860 could be your John Boyd Neighbors?
2) Do you think Milly Nabors/Neighbors married a 2nd time?

One other question, do you have any information on when Abraham Nabors died? I know that on the 1880 Shelby County AL census, Mary A. Nabors is shown as a widow, and there is a deed signed by Mary A. and Abraham Nabors to R.S. Woodward (Sarah Ann Susan Mardis' husband) in Sep 1870. Other than that I have not been able to find any information about his death. So far, no will or probate records. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
