Yes, you did receive some wrong info. Corrections follow.
#1--The Estate Settlement of Jacob Nabors b 1774--d 27 Sept. 1825 Laurens Co. S.C. was settled in Laurens Co. "NOT" Greenville Co. S.C. in 1825 "NOT" 1857.
#2--Wife Elizabeth was appointed guardian of their minor childern--Rebecca--Samuel--Alexander. Son, John,b 18o2, named administrator of his Father's estate.
The "WILL" belongs to this Jacob & the "DOWER RELEASE" belongs to our Jacob (d 1817 Greenville Co. S.C.) it list his 6 heirs.
#3--John W. Nabors b 21 Oct. 1808 S.C.--d 31 Oct. 1868 Shelby Co. Ala. is "NOT" the son of Jacob & Judith,he is their Grandson. His Father is Jacob & Judith's son, Arthur, (old Arthur & sarh) of Winston Co. Miss.
#4--I do not beleive the 2nd & 3rd marriages of our Jacob.
I beleive the name Jacob Francis is a "MYTH"
