Roberta--Regarding our Arthur & Sarah.
Arthur Nabors b ca 1785 S.C. or Va.--d 1838 Winston Co. Miss. mar Sarah maiden name unknown, she, b 1788 Va.--d 1850-1851 Winston Co. Miss. Arthur & Sarah lived in Shelby Co. Ala. before going to Winston Co Miss. They had 13 known childern. Arthur & Sarah are my GG Grandparents.
The above Arthur is "NOT" the son of Abraham & Eleanor Jane Boyd Neighbors. He is "NOT" the son of Jacob & Sally Wheat Nabors, who, what, where they may be. He is "NOT" the son of the non-existing "Jacob Francis" & Sally Wheat Nabors. Arthur "IS" the son of Jacob & Judith Nabors of Laurens Co. S.C.--Prince Edward Co. Va. & Greenville Co. S.C.
The above Arthur's brothers & sister are as follows-------
Judith b 1777 mar Henry Hill
William b ca 1780--no data
John b ca 1782 mar Sally--no more data
Abraham b ca 1784 mar Nancy Crockett Crawford
Jacob b ca 1788 mar Elizabeth Loveless, "Betsy"
This Arthur "NOT" born 1795, his first known child born 1804, Arthur would have been "9 years old" at the time.
Artur-Arter-Autur--Auter are phonic spellings of the name Arthur--consider the time period.
Wife Sarah is"NOT" the daughter of Robert S. & Precious Posey Shepard, I repeat, Sarah is "NOT" the dau. of Robert S. & Precious Posey Shepard.
I did check out the 1850 census Winston Co. Miss. the name "Blassin" stands for Blassingame, I did note th F for female but that is a mistake, I have a document that list all of Arthur's heirs in 1857 & Blassingame is there not Blossum!!!!
