I am looking for information on the ancestors of Amelia Catherine Nace. She was born 7 May 1847 in PA and died 9 Nov 1913. About 1871 she married William H. Seitz. Their children were Clarence B., Celestia, Edgar M., Lucretia B., Effie, Millie and John Michael. (I have some information to share on all of them.)
I have the names of Amelia's parents as John and Elizabeth Nace, but not much more. I believe I have located the family in the 1860 census in W. Manheim township, York, PA. Eliza, the mother is age 53 and widowed. The children are Eliza Ann (age 19), Geo B. (age 15) and Amelia C. (age 13). The children were all born in PA, but the mother was born in Maryland. I have been unable to find them in the 1850 census.
I believe that Amelia's sister Eliza married Jesse Garret and her brother George B. married Mary Ann Crist. This is based on a 1916 obituary I found for George.
Does this sound familiar to anyone? Any help is appreciated.
