Your mention of Mathias Nace suggests that he is very close to the original family line. From what I recall of the family history, the Nace's came from Switzerland in the 1730's. There was a family of seven, older parents, two boys, and three girls; one boy was named Luke or Lucius, and he died young, the other was named Mathias or Mathious (?), and he is the progenitor of the entire Nace clan.
My grandfather, Israel George Nace, was from the original family farm, born in the early 1890's, but spoke German into his teens. That farm is now under water from a reservoir built in the 1960's.
There were several migrations from that property as the family grew, one notable to Kansas with the Eisenhowers in the 1840's(?), and others to Ohio, Toronto, and all points of the compass.
I do not want your photos, but they may be of interest in a historical museum in York, or Hanover, PA.
