Dear Julie,

I wish I could offer more help but, I'm afraid we must have different 'Nachmans'.
"My" Nachmans were originally from Poland and maybe a few from Russia. Some of them came to the States and some went to Canada, a few even made it to what is now Israel. All the rest, sadly, were executed in the Holocaust.

P.S. I have found some of the internet white pages to be helpful as well as Google.com. If you type a name in quotes (i.e. "John Doe") they seem to be able to find quite a bit of info.
