Franklin Augustus NADING (went by Frank) (1867-1943) married Mary Esther RICE (1871-1946). Both were born in Edwards County, Illinois and died in Des Moines, Iowa. They were the parents of seven children, the fourth being John Franklin NADING.
Frank and Mary are buried at the Merle Hay Cemetery, at Des Moines, Polk County, Iowa. The family left Bone Gap, Edwards County, Illinois in 1907 or 1908 and moved to northern North Dakota. The three eldest sons served in World War I. In about 1918 the family moved to Iowa.
John Franklin NADING (went by Jack) was born 24 May 1899 in Edwards County, Illinois and died on 14 Jul 1984 in Los Angeles County, California. He married Ruby L. RINEHART (1896-1969) on 22 Feb 1923 at Indianola, Warren County, Iowa.
Jack and Ruby had one known child:
Ruby Lou NADING, born Oct 1924 at Des Moines, Polk County, Iowa and married to Jack BULLOCK in 1953. They had a son JOHN.
