As you can see, my name is Stephen Bornstein. I grew up in Newark with your father, with whom I attended elementary and high school. I would venture to say that we were best of friends.
I knew your grandparents well and send my very late condolences to you(and Barry), on the sad occassion of Gerties death. I loved her more than I can say.
I do hope that your father is still with us and I am more than pleased that he has raised a caring daughter. If you like you can respond at bornste4@nyc.rr.com. I just felt I had to extend my sympathies to friends who were and are sorely missed.
