I talked with my mother-in-law earlier. About all that she knows for now, is that Pauline(a) Nadolny(i) came to Chicago, IL. with her husband Andrew Zukowski through Ellis Island. Apparently, both of their parents (families?) came with them.

I have a copy of the 1890 Chicago directory, which lists an Andrzej and Charles Zukowski. Also 1900 and 1910 (more are listed). I'll have to ask Mom where she got the copies from, as I don't have the page where NADOLNY would be listed.

Did any of your Nadolny(i)'s marry the son of a Baron? Pauline(a)'s husband Andrew Zukowski's father was made a Baron. His name was Von Zukowski (per Pauline(a)'s daughter Josephine, my husband's grandmother).

Haven't checked the web site for Ellis Island yet, nor the rolls at the National Archives Southeast, just outside of Atlanta (about 40ish miles away).

There is another "cousin" exchanging information on the Zukowski list. Perhaps they know more. Just saw them today also.
