Hello Nagles,

I’m looking for any information on the family of John Francis Nagle.

This is about all that I know about his family:

John Francis Nagle’s father was:
John Joseph (Jack) Nagle, b. Feb 18, 1881, d. 1923 in Mass.

John Francis Nagle’s mother was:
Gertrude May Kane, b. Apr 14, 1884, d. Feb 1973.

They were married in about 1910 and they had three children.

They were:
( 1.) Gertrude Helen Nagle, b. Apr 18, 1911 in Mass. , d. about 1926.

( 2.) John Francis Nagle, b. Mar 26, 1915 in Springfield, Mass., d. Apr 21, 1976 in Chevy Chase, Md.
He married Virginia R. Clarke. John Francis Nagle lost his eye sight at about the age of 13. He finished school and later went to Law School. He was the first blind person to pass the law exam. He practiced law in Springfield, Mass. for many years. He later worked for the Rights for the Handicapped in Washington, D.C. His wife Virginia Clarke was also blind, but was born blind. They lived in Chevy Chase, Md. when he died in 1976.

( 3.) Arlene Marion Nagle, b. Apr 24, 1920 in Springfield, Mass. (this is my mother, she is still living and lives in Atlanta, Ga.)

Any information that you can give me about this family I would appreciate.

Please HELP me,
Jim Carswell in Woodstock, Georgia USA
