Am looking for information on Captain Jeremiah Nagle and his family. Was a Catholic Irishman, who had sometime prior to 1840s been on an East Indiaman and been in Jamaica, was Capt of convict ship 'Neptune' Dublin to Sydney, Australia 1838, and 1841-50 was on Great Barrier Island, 60 miles North-east of Auckland, New Zealand, overseeing the construction of a sailing ship, then moved tpo California early 1850s.
