Gregory, I have only a distant Nagy relative. I know very little of him. My former mother-in-law's maiden name was Nagy. Her father was born in Parkston, South Dakota, named Ben (possible Benedek or a variation thereof) probably in the late 1880's. I really am only writing to tell you that I was saddened by the responses to your innocent inquiry. Our own national tragedy of Sept. 11, nor one's expertise, experience, wisdom or age, nor how many times someone else may have already answered the question, are no excuse for ill behavior. It perhaps would have been wiser for the gentelmen to have not responded. I have no ill will towards him, I just wanted to encourage you to continue to search and ask your questions. Someone will be there to offer you the next piece of your puzzle just as there was someone who offered me a piece that opened wonderful doors of personal history of which I would have never known. I would welcome you to our family, were there a connection. Be well. Linda DuPuy
