I descend from Martin, through his son, Richard and then through Richard's son, John b. ca 1734 died 14 Sept 1781 in a skirmish near Lindley's Mill, located near Burlington, N.C. John's daughter, Mary (Molly) married Thomas Younger and that is my surname. I am a member of DAR and am trying to get a supplemental on John and need to find proof of his service. Since he died during the war there will be no pension papers. Anyone who has anything that would help me, please contact me. Also, if anyone feels I might have something to help them, please contact me. wilma(dot)norton(at)cox(dot)net. Thank you.
