I am a descendent of Martin Nalle. I am also a member of DAR (San Francisco Chapter) and am helping a distant cousin of mine to establish his mother's lineage for DAR. His ancestor is also Richard(son of Martin) through Richard's son John. We have several accounts of Maj. John Nalle's Revolutionary War experience from his son and brother's widow who applied for pensions......and that he died at the Revolutionary War battle of Cane Creek in NC. We can send you the sources for that. We are pretty close to establishing Maj. John Nalle as a "Patriot" and if you are able to show your connection to him, you should be done. I can also put our membership chair (who is helping me to establish Maj. John Nalle as a Patriot) in touch with you or your local chapter membership chair (if you work through her). If you would like, I can also put you in touch with my cousin as your lineage is closer to him than to mine. He has a lot of family information to share. Let me know. By the way, do you have a copy of "The Nall Families in America?" I am trying to locate one. It will also contain important information for you.
