Nalle Family Cemetary in Tappahannock, VA

I saw a post where someone said they had photos of the grave markers for Martin and Mary Aldin Nalle? Not sure if I read it right, but I am curious if we are talking about the same people. I have recently visited the grave site at Tappahannock and there are no markers where the graves are thought to be located. There are stones from the other families buried in the plot, but none for any Nalles. However, I do have recent photos of the plot if anyone would like a copy. Just email me. I also talked with the current landowner and the house that stands on the property was not built by Nalles. It was built around 1780 long after the Nalles had sold the land and left. There is evidence of a foundation near the house though and that was probably where the original house stood. Unfortunately, that is about all that's left beside the cemetary plot.

I also have a recent photo of the gravestone marker for Martin Nalle in Culpeper which is shown in my mother's book. Unfortunately, even at the time she took the photo which was about 1968, it had been removed from the actual grave site. Today, it is located beneath a tree behind the larger house owned by the Leavell family.

My mother's, "Nall Families of America" is copyrighted, but it is now available on CD. Email me if you would like information. Also, I guess because we are all cousins to one degree or another, if you happen to be in the Virginia area and want to visit some of the sites in Tappahannock or Culpeper, let me know plenty of time in advance and I'll be happy to show them to you.
