Robert is of course correct. Although the name was sometimes spelled Narimore, Narrowmore, Narromore in England, Narramore was the usual spelling. The origin of the name appears elsewhere in the Forum with the original version being Bynorthemore, meaning 'dwellers north of the moor' ie Dartmoor.

By the time our ancestors reached New England, the various mispellings increased. It's a damned awkward surname even in this day and age. I frequently get letters addressed to all sorts of weird spellings!

If you both are at all interested to viewing my MyFamily Narramore Family Website, please contact me and I will get this arranged.
