Where in southern MO are you ? My grandfather was born in West Plains and moved to Jackson Co., AR with his family some time in the very late 1800's. I dont' recognize any of the names but I'm sure the families are connected. My grandfather was William Jonathan and his father was Samuel Martin Neldon. I want to make a trip up to Pleasant Plains and if you can help me find cemeteries or old home places it would be great. I'm not sure when I'll be able to get up there but plan to in the near future.
