Elva - daughter of Matthew Handling

Matthew Handling born Scotland 1884,emigrated to NZ with his future wife (Marion)Jones c1908. At some stage they adopted a daughter - Elva, who in turn married and had at least two children. Matthew was still alive in 1962 but family contact has since been lost. Mathew's Uncle was Sir George Fowlds, who was the Minister of Public Health and Education in New Zealand c1906-1911
Help needed to find Elva or her descendents, any details of her married name or whereabouts appreciated.
