My g/grandmother, born c.1841 Cornwall,England,married Robert McCoomb, b c1833, Co.down, Ireland. Was a gunner in the Royal Navy, Emigrated to australia on the vessel Highflyer, 1864. Two daughters were born in the Sydney district, Jane McCoomb, 1867 and Alice A, 1869.
In 1873 Robert, Jane, (daughter) and Alice emigrated to New Zealand, seems that Jane Elizabeth (Mother) must have died before they emigrated.?
Jane, b. 1867, married John Fizelle in Gisborne, (Ormond)
