Hello Janet. If you already have this info, I apologise. Jane Elizabeth McCoomb married 1885 Folio # 1126 to John Fitzell. Robert McCoomb m. 1875 F# 1537 Martha Lydia Wright. Martha Lydia died 1916, 72 years and was buried at Ormond Cemetery. There is a Robert McCoomb died in 1920, 87 yrs and is buried at Kioreroa, Otaika, which is near Whangarei. The age matches with the dates you have given. There is also a John Fitzell d. 1937, 75 yrs and is buried at Waihi Cemetery. I have not been able to find Alice or Jane, so far.
There seems to have been quite a family of Fitzell's buried at Ormond Cemetery. There are also McCoombe's which may be a recording error, so if you don't mind waiting for a another week, I will check them out at the Family History Centre - they have more detailed records on microfiche.
